[Sri Lanka | August 6, 2025] — Kingsun is proud to announce the successful commissioning of the Sunny Fields 3.8MW solar power project, a key renewable energy initiative located in Sri Lanka’s southern region.
The project was designed, supplied, and supported by Kingsun in partnership with local EPC teams and utilizes Huawei’s smart PV inverter solutions, ensuring stable performance, maximum energy yield, and long-term operational efficiency.
Installed Capacity: 3.8 MW
Location: Southern Sri Lanka
Technology: Huawei SUN2000 series inverters + high-efficiency PV modules
Expected Output: Enough to power ~1,500+ households annually
CO₂ Reduction: Estimated to reduce 3,200+ tons of emissions per year
From site assessment to final commissioning, the Kingsun engineering team worked seamlessly with local partners to overcome logistical challenges and deliver a clean, scalable power plant aligned with Sri Lanka’s national energy goals.
“Sunny Fields is a perfect reflection of what we stand for — smart energy, local collaboration, and global technology,” said a spokesperson from Kingsun. “We’re excited to see more clean power flowing into Sri Lanka’s grid.”
This project adds to Kingsun’s growing portfolio of utility and commercial-scale PV projects across South Asia and strengthens its commitment to a low-carbon, energy-resilient future.
